Megan & Shaun

Hands down, THE quirkiest wedding ever!

I had the most amazing day photographing Shaun & Megan's wedding last month. Every little detail had so much thought put into it and they pulled everything together amazingly.

I arrived at bridal prep to the coolest location ever. A little hobbit house! This is where Shaun proposed to Megan so it made it all the more special getting ready for the day here. As soon as I saw Megan's dress I could not wait to see her in it. All the beautiful colours made these Spring wedding photos pop!

Once all of the prep was done, it was time to head to Dufftown train station to catch the old Whisky Line train to Drummuir platform. Shaun and all the guests were already in the train, ready to cover their eyes so Megan could get on into a hidden booth without being seen before the ceremony!

The ceremony started at 1:30 once we had all arrived by train and was conducted by the wonderful Neil Lynch. It was full of meaningful sentiments towards Megan & Shaun's family and so many beautiful ideas. Lot's of smiles, giggles and a few tears. It really was a beautiful ceremony and their smiles walking back down the aisle says it all!

The celebrations continued at the platform, including their drinks reception, ice creams and photos! It was the most chilled out setting, no stress, just getting to enjoy their day they spent so much time planning! This pair are so easy to photograph and it was an honour to spend their special day capturing all the memories for them.

We then got the train back to Dufftown and headed to Edinvillie Hall for the evening reception. Everything was decorated so magically and there was so many personal touches that just made it so special! The speeches were some of the most touching I've ever heard and it was so clear in Shaun's speech how much he loved his beautiful new wifey.

They definitely had an amazing crowd as the dance floor wasn't empty once. Their family and guests were so lovely all day and made the best candids! I truly loved this wedding and would relive it any day! Thank you so much to the Stanworths for having me.
