My Style

For any type of photo session, whether it be weddings, kids or families, my goal is to achieve a relaxed & informal atmosphere to get the most natural shots that best represent whoever I am photographing. I am all about letting kids be kids. Let’s skip the old fashioned sit and smile technique and instead run around, act crazy, sing songs & have a fun filled session. I want to create timeless pictures with the biggest smiles worthy of spending a lifetime proudly displayed on your walls.

My life

I am a 23 year old, cocker spaniel dog mom & workaholic born and raised in Banff, Scotland. Growing up in such a beautiful coastal town surrounded with the most stunning scenery, it was only a matter of time before I picked up a camera and started documenting the world around me. I've had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember, a camera was always on my Santa list!

My journey began in 2013 when I set up my wee Facebook page to share my work with friends, family & people in my local community. It's been so rewarding watching it grow over the last 8 years, but also crazy to look back on being an ambitious little 15 year old. I threw myself in the deep end & did my first wedding at 16 & knew from then on weddings were what I wanted to focus on most. It really is the most exciting job ever!

Why I love my job

No single working day is the same. Every day I meet new people, see new places & photograph new things! I count myself so lucky to have such an exciting job that fills me with all sorts of different emotions on a daily basis. At weddings you'll usually catch me with a huge smile on my face when I see my brides coming down the aisle, getting goosebumps at the beautiful images I am creating & tearing up at touching speeches! Building a bond with my brides and grooms is a must & it's so lovely to catch up with them after the wedding madness is over as well.

I work at a nursery too!

I LOVE working with kids. They are the most funny, brutally honest & cutest creatures on the planet. I started working at a nursery five years ago part time & since then I have came on so much in my photography career. How you might wonder? It's taught me a lot of things! Knowing how to make my subjects feel comfortable around me from the get go, how to speak to them and what makes them laugh. The hours fit so well around my main job & I feel so smitten at how well it all works out.
